Educational quality of YouTube videos on lateral neck dissection: a multidimensional assessment using validated scoring systems and a novel anatomical demonstration score
Aims: This study aims to evaluate the educational quality, surgical detail, and anatomical clarity of YouTube videos demonstrating lateral neck dissection (LND). The study utilized validated scoring systems (JAMA, GQS, DISCERN, OSATS). Additionally, an Anatomy Demonstration Score (ADS) designed specifically for this study was employed. Methods: A total of 100 English-language YouTube videos related to LND were included. The videos were independently rated by two expert surgeons using a five-point scoring system.
